Fun in the sun. Today was a warm sunny morning and the kids got out early to practice their rollerskating. Jack was suited up in his marine corps shirt and cap(thanks grandpa), and he enjoyed getting underfoot.
Tonight is the end of week four of five weeks of a nursing refresher course that I am taking at UCSD. Then I follow it with a 60 hour preceptorship. It has gone well, and I am hopeful it will lead to at least per diem employment. In the San Diego area there is a huge glut of nurses, and not a lot of jobs. That has been a challenging thing to deal with, since my whole nursing career it has been no problem to get a job.
Tickets are booked for Alaska. The girls are soooo excited. They ask every day how many weeks till we fly to Alaska. We are spending about 18 days there, and get to be at my niece Anna's birthday party. We are also planning to take a 6 hour glacier cruise with the whole family. Seven kids and six adults, almost man to man defense.
Off to do laundry and make kids do their schoolwork. Hugs to you all.

Evey has such a Willis look to her now. I almost didn't recognize Jack, he's a little boy, especially with the cap. Can't wait to see all of you!

The kids are all looking older. Love the USMC garb.
